1 Sponsor

The sponsor is Paratus Self Defense LLC, 115 Perry Highway, Suite 138, Harmony, Pennsylvania 16037 (the “Sponsor”).

2 Promotion Structure and Timing

The Find the Byrna Bus promotion consists of separately announced sweepstakes rounds. Each round begins and ends at the dates and times stated in the official Paratus Self Defense Facebook or Instagram post announcing that round (the “Sighting Post”). All times are Eastern Time. The Sponsor’s systems are the official timekeeping devices. Entries received outside the stated entry period are void.

3 Eligibility

Each round is open only to legal residents of Pennsylvania who are at least 18 years old when they enter. Employees, officers, and directors of the Sponsor, its affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible. The promotion is void where prohibited.

4 How to Enter

During an active round, find the Byrna Bus at the location indicated by the Sponsor’s clues. Take an original photograph showing both the entrant and the Byrna Bus. Post the photograph publicly on Facebook or Instagram during the entry period, tag @paratussd, and include #FindTheByrnaBus and #ParatusSweepstakes. The post must remain public and available for verification through the end of the round.

Entrants using a private account may enter by emailing the original photograph, full name, telephone number, and the applicable sighting round to admin@paratusselfdefense.com during the entry period. Email entry is also available as a free alternate method of entry. The subject line should read “Find the Byrna Bus Entry.”

Limit one entry per person per round, regardless of entry method. Sharing a post, tagging friends, making a purchase, or submitting duplicate posts does not create additional entries. Automated, incomplete, late, inaccessible, or fraudulent entries are void.

5 Photo and Conduct Requirements

An entry must be the entrant’s original work and must not violate another person’s rights. It must not contain unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or unsafe content. The entrant must have permission from every identifiable adult appearing in the photo and permission from a parent or legal guardian for any identifiable minor. Entrants must remain in areas lawfully open to visitors and must not enter traffic, restricted property, or unsafe areas. The Sponsor may disqualify an entry that fails these requirements.

6 Prize

The Sighting Post will identify the prize for that round and its approximate retail value. Unless the Sighting Post says otherwise, the prize will be a non-regulated Paratus merchandise or accessory package and will not include a launcher, ammunition, or chemical projectile. No cash substitution is permitted, except that the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the announced prize becomes unavailable. The winner is responsible for taxes and other costs not expressly included.

7 Winner Selection and Notification

After a round closes, the Sponsor will randomly select one potential winner from all eligible entries received for that round. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. The Sponsor will contact the potential winner through the social platform used to enter or through the contact information supplied by email. The potential winner must respond within 72 hours and may be required to provide proof of eligibility and complete an eligibility, liability, publicity, and tax document where lawful. If the potential winner does not respond, is ineligible, or does not complete the required documents, the Sponsor may select an alternate winner.

8 Prize Delivery

Unless the Sighting Post says otherwise, the winner must claim the prize at the Paratus Self Defense store at 115 Perry Highway, Suite 138, Harmony, Pennsylvania 16037, during normal business hours and within 30 days after verification. A government-issued photo ID may be required. The Sponsor may arrange another delivery method at its discretion.

9 Publicity and Entry License

Where permitted by law, the winner grants the Sponsor permission to use the winner’s name, city, likeness, submitted photograph, and prize information for promotion of the Sponsor and this campaign without additional compensation. Every entrant grants the Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, repost, and share the submitted photograph in connection with the campaign, with credit when practical. Ownership of the photograph remains with the entrant.

10 General Conditions

The Sponsor may suspend, modify, or cancel a round if fraud, technical failure, weather, safety concerns, site restrictions, or another circumstance impairs the integrity or safe operation of the promotion. The Sponsor may disqualify anyone who tampers with the promotion, provides false information, behaves unsafely, or interferes with another entrant. The Sponsor’s decisions are final on matters relating to the promotion.

11 Release and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants release and hold harmless the Sponsor, Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook, Instagram, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims arising from participation in the promotion or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize, except where such a release is prohibited by law. Entrants remain responsible for their own travel, conduct, and safety.

12 Privacy

The Sponsor will use information submitted for this promotion to administer the applicable round, verify eligibility, contact the winner, maintain legally required records, and promote the campaign as described in these rules. The Sponsor will not add entrants to a marketing list solely because they entered unless they separately consent.

13 Platform Disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or Meta Platforms, Inc. Entrants provide their information to the Sponsor, not to Facebook or Instagram. Facebook and Instagram are released from responsibility for the promotion to the extent permitted by law.

14 Governing Law and Disputes

The laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania govern the promotion without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from the promotion must be brought individually in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Butler County, Pennsylvania, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

15 Winner Information

For the name of a verified winner, send a request within 60 days after the applicable round closes to admin@paratusselfdefense.com with the subject line “Find the Byrna Bus Winner Request” and identify the sighting round.
